The Menges Mills Historic Horse Steam and Gas Engine Association is a non-profit association honoring the preservation, display, and demonstration of historic agricultural equipment.

Good morning from the Menges Mills Historical Horse Steam and Gas Engine Association, as we start into spring time we would like to introduce everybody to the new board of directors as voted in at the last meeting in 2025. We would love to see more people come to our meetings and help make decision that affect our club. Our next meeting will be May 31st at 5pm at the West York Hoss’s. We will see you there! Attention! The Menges Mills Historic Horse Steam and Gas Association is seeking volunteers, vendors and exhibits for the upcoming show July 17-19th of 2026. The show will be held at the York County 4H grounds in Spring Grove Pa, this year we are featuring steam engines. We would love to see everybody at our upcoming meeting on April 26th at the West York Hoss’s at 5pm. Anybody who is interested or has questions is encouraged to come to our meetings. You are also welcome to contact any of our board members or shoot a message to this account. Warmer weather is right around the corner and we’re excited to jump into the 2026 season!

Today a group of volunteers from the club picked up this early McCormick Daisy reaper, this reaper was generously donated to the club and will be used to cut and thresh wheat next year at the show. We are looking forward to this because it has been many years since we’ve showcased threshing. We will update you more as we get closer to the show!

As we come into the colder months, it becomes time to organize the tractors into the barn, drain the water and soon get a nice fire in the wood stove. This is a great time to reflect over the harvest and tractor show season, and maybe start working on some new projects for the winter! With the clocks being set back we would love to see your tractor sunset photos, comment them below.

After a very important meeting we would like to make a huge announcement…
Next year, the 40th annual Menges Mills Historical Association’s show will be held at the York 4H grounds again!
We’ve been listening to everyone and wanted to make this change as well as many other important changes for the future of the show!

New elections:
Merv Heiner was elected as president
Landon Heiner was elected as vice president

For Next years show, our 40th annual show, we will be featuring steam engines and hit and miss engines!

We look forward to seeing everyone at the York 4H grounds next year July 17-19th! Mark your calendars!
