On Friday, I was able to represent the foundation at the closing ceremony of the SYC Fire Camp. I went with a prepared speech but something said to speak from the heart. So I folded my speech and spoke about how important it is to volunteer in our community and start young. Thank you to President Commissioner Julie Wheeler for capturing this video. I am not a public speaker ~ Wanda

It was our pleasure partnering with the SYC Fire Camp for this 2nd year! This year, we were blessed to be the recipient of a grant from Burlington that helped make this sponsorship a reality. Thank you to Brittane Messersmith for submitting our organization to Burlington which ultimately resulted in the grant. We are forever grateful to everyone, since the beginning, who has supported us on this journey. To Chase Hartlaub we will forever love and miss you and will continue to do all of this in memory of you and your love of the volunteer fire service ❤️

Today is Day #1 for our campers at SYC Fire Camp. This year, we are sponsoring 42 youth at this camp who want to learn the basics of the fire service. Can't wait to see what this week has in store for these kids!

Our sponsored cadets, Izaiah and Travis, have both successfully graduated from the Adams County Cadet Academy.
It was a pleasure watching them learn and grow from this experience. Looking forward to seeing Izaiah and Travis thrive in their future firefighting career

While we were unable to attend Family Night at the Adams County Cadet Academy, we hear from Izaiah's mom that Family night was so much fun. Izaiah and Travis are doing amazing and having a great time! Keep up the good work!
