In 2006 SkateForDreams was founded by Jake Flanagan (John Phillip Flanagan the 3rd) but it was first known as Project Cure! That is when Jake great grandfather passed of Cancer. That year Jake skated from Salem,NH to Boston,MA 2 times. In 2007 Jake joined forces with Nick Blake, from there became new ideas for the cause and new missions. That year was the year Project Cure became SkateForDreams. i
n 2008 S4D started school tours starting with Salem High. In 2010 We raised over $2,000 for Cancer research. In 2011 jake lost his brother to MS and put a hold on the skate.. near the end of 2011 Jake teamed up with Richie Downs and Nick Valenzi. Which brought a whole new life to the family. In 2012 Jake has teamed up with I'm Thirsty Entertainment. Many sponsors and Alot of supporters.. SkateForDreams has started off as a kid on a skateboard making a difference and has GREW to a whole different thing.. its not about one person and its not about one cause its now about a group of people who has formed a family and is making a difference everyday in anyway possible.. its about Early detection and pervention. Its about School's and Education. Its about Hepling the planet. Is about Love not Hate! and Most of all its about Family and Friendship and how working together can make a big difference! What Is S4D? SkateForDreams is an non profit organization and is based out of Salem New Hampshire, aimed at spreading education about cancer prevention,Education,War, Multiple Sclerosis and much more. Over the last year, SkateForDreams founder, Jake Flanagan, has Skated from Salem,NH to Boston,MA 2 times in 1 year sharing his passion for Skating with a cause with everyone he encounters. He has had an especially strong connection with the skateboarding and music communities across MA and NH. We aim to make SkateForDreams events open to all ages wherever possible.
