SHHW provides Free Veteran, Active-Military and Family Healing Programs and Appointments.

We are a healing and restoration ministry to help find healing from post traumatic stress and the negative effects of combat. We help veterans find healing through peer to peer programs that guide fellow warriors into faith and encounter with Jesus for healing. We do this through faith building coaching, teaching and healing prayer ministry. We will never turn away anyone seeking healing, even if

they do not believe in God or Jesus Christ. We will always give God the chance to show His love and mercy to anyone. We give them a chance to know Him.

We want to end 22 Veteran Suicides a Day, 660 a month and 8030 a year. This is the tip of the spear for needs for the veterans community, and we go beyond awareness and apply action to the need.

Our Story

SHHW provides Free Veteran, Active Duty and Family Healing Programs and Appointments. We are a healing and restoration ministry to find healing from post traumatic stress, emotional and physical wounds and injuries.

The ministry was started when David Bickford, an Army Infantry Captain who was a special operations veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom was healed by Jesus Christ of PTSD, TBI and other physical combat injuries. The ministry was formed with the commission to go to veterans, active military and their families to bring healing to them and allow them to be empowered with fresh purpose in life and help others heal too. During the first several years of serving as a connecting point between heaven and veterans and their families through prayer and teaching ministry, the ministry saw many veterans healed of PTSD and other emotional and physical combat injuries. In 2019, the ministry was formed into a non-profit in order to enable an expansion of its commission and reach veterans nationwide. We are a non-denominational Christian ministry.
