Identity Crisis in the Body of Christ.
If in fact you have been born again your identity should be that of a Believer. For all who believe on His name He gives them power to Become Sons/Daughters of God. This my friends is your identity. Now this may offend some but your identity is not in being American, Your identity is not in being African American, Native American, Jewish nor in any other ethnic group. Your identity is Not in what background you were born into but what you have been reborn into. It's for sure not in your gifting or your title. Identifying who you are by your natural birth will never propel you into the fullness of your destiny. Many have been held back and some even in bo***ge due to this.
When we all stand before Him we will be given a new name and it will Not include a title to announce your entrance. Thousands upon thousands of believers are seeking after a revelation or anointing that they can attach their identity to. Your identity is found in your place of intimacy with the Father. That is your true identity and the only identity that will break the spirit of poverty off of your lives. I for one only want to be found in Him. Let's be like the wise virgins that have our lamps full of oil and our wicks trimmed. Looking and waiting for His Coming.

On behalf of all earthly fathers, I ask that my/our children would forgive us; for not being there when you needed us, for failing to complete what we promised to to, for breaking your hearts, not encouraging you when you needed it, for disciplining you when when we should have comforted you, for  threatening you and or disciplining you when we were angry, forgive us for not being the fathers that you had hoped we would be. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive us. Many times we are so caught up in the things of our own lives. We have failed to recognize or come to the rescue, when you needed us. I can say that I and we have loved you to the best of our ability even when we failed. I can’t promise you that we won’t fail again, or disappoint you again, I can tell you that our heavenly father is always looking out for you. He has been watching over you from the day you came into this earth for that we are eternally thankful I ask again please forgive us. Please do not shut us out of your life. I love you and I believe in you we love you and we believe in you. With Gods grace we will be better fathers!

Truly faith is the evidence of things hoped for. We are told to put on the full armor of God so that we can Stand against the wiles (lies, schemes, craftiness, trickery, deceitfulness, etc.) of the Devil. Notice we are not just to stand but to Stand against (meaning it is directed and intentional) our warfare must be intentional. All the armor is necessary, but there is an emphasis on verse 16, "Above all, take the shield of Faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked." (MKJV)
Jesus, speaking to Pharisees, said that the Devil was a murderer from the beginning and the father of Lies. He is the master liar and deceiver! My purpose for sharing this morning is to expose the deceitfulness of fear. Our enemy presents it to us every day in so many ways. Holy Spirit, please come and examine us. Reveal and bring into light every fear we have agreed with. Help us to truly repent and come out of agreement with this wickedness. Fear is at the root of many sicknesses and illnesses. It's an open door for the enemy to access. Some would say we are trusting the Lord, but the fact is, many have agreed with the fear; in doing so, it still has access. Many fears believers have allowed are generational. Fear of some disease our parents or grandparents had. Other fears come when we are attacked by pain or symptoms in our bodies. Yes, we can have legit medical issues; however, many are brought on by fear and or acquiescence (meaning us not resisting and giving in) The good news is we can overcome. Pray with me, Holy Father in the Name of Jesus, we repent for agreeing with the lies and deception of the enemy,we repent for not standing against these lies and rejecting them. In the power of Your might, we pick up the Shield to Faith. We put all our faith and trust in You. We reject all lies, sickness, disease, illness, and fear. We receive the fullness of our inheritance and sons and daughters of the King. We say No to every attack and Yes to the Victory and the Provision of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We cloth ourselves in the Victory of the completed work of the Cross. Thank You, Lord.
Be encouraged, saints. Put up your Shield of Faith and walk out your salvation with fear and trembling.

Often when I speak to people about Jesus here in the south, most say they know Him and need to get back to church, etc.

Jesus was clear when he said, “Mat 10:37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
Mat 10:38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
Mat 10:39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. “

If Jesus is not the number 1 love of your life! I encourage you to ask the Lord for a genuine spirit of repentance and place His passion in your heart.

We are told to examine ourselves and see if we are really in faith! 2 Cor,15:3

I’m concerned that many have set about to just ascertain all the benefits of salvation which sounds good but truly laying down ones life for His purposes seem rare.

I believe in contending for the promises; but if we are only seeking His hand and not Him face we are sorely displaced in our affections. Seeking the world and things of the world… above Him means we are out of order.

I truly believe we are in a season where Holy Spirit is pouring out a Genuine Spirit of Repentance which in turn releases hope.

However, for those who are refusing to repent, I speak of those claiming to be Believers, Judgment begins with the House of God and He’s dealing with Rebellion. That said, if you’re sick it may be the grace of God calling us to humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God. He resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. Remember that rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft.

I feel this is a very serious and timely word. No one is as loving and kind as the Lord. Love is not His only attribute. He has placed his Word above his own name Ps 138. We will all be judged by His word!

My exhortation for everyone is this;

1Th 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
1Th 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1Th 5:19 Quench not the Spirit.
1Th 5:20 Despise not prophesyings.
1Th 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
1Th 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.
1Th 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Bless the Lord and seek Him while He may be found!
