DID YOU KNOW...in the month of August we helped 84 families with food pantries!! We helped 6 families with utility shutoffs! And we put another 15,072 pounds of food out in to the community from different resources we work with. We sure could use some food donations if you can spare any. The last two months we have given out 167 food pantries to families in need. While we can order from the Lincoln Food Bank there are lots of items we can't get. We are always in need of Spaghetti sauce, boxed dinners, canned chicken or tuna, cold cereal, frozen dinners, meal type soups, and meat of any kind!

Check it out: Blue Valley Community Action-York County, NE just received $500 towards purchasing meat for the food pantry. Difference Makers in action at the York County Fair raised money to support their local food pantry! Thank you for all you do TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!

DID YOU KNOW... In the month of July Blue Valley Community Action-York FCS was able to provide food pantries to 83 families! WOW! We also were able to provide an additional 8,462 pounds of food to the community through Food Bank of Lincoln produce runs and Walmart donations. Financially we were able to help 4 families with utility shut-offs and 2 families with rent assistance and 2 families with household goods/clothing. We also gave out 35 back packs to children in need. I want to send a huge shout-out to the VOLUNTEERS who keep this place going and never say no to any task asked of them! As always we appreciate the love and support from the community!
