"Will she ever sleep?"
"Will he ever go more than an hour between feedings?"
"When will they ever let someone else hold them?"
Don't fall in the trap of thinking that the challenge you are facing today will go on forever. Babies get older. Toddlers outgrow things. It will get better.

Idaho and Utah recently created laws to protect mothers who are nursing in public against fines for public indecency, contributing to the movement to make breastfeeding more widely accepted as cultural norms shift away from infant formula toward breast milk in the US.

Beautiful (and sometimes hilarious) breastfeeding moments we often forget about along the way.

I remember our very first road trip with Sesame. I nursed him in the backseat of the car while eating. I was still getting the hang of in public.

Six years later and this is me breastfeeding in public as a second time mom. My husband took this picture during our first breakfast stop last week. It so perfectly shows how I’ve grown as a mother. If Blueberry is hungry, I’m feeding him at the table while the rest of us eat too.

Bonus points for my big boy being in this picture not even flinching about mommy’s breast being out because he knows that they’re for feeding his brother.
