** Press release regarding our attendance of the York Fair **

A few of our members, along with a couple members of the Manchester Township IAFF Local 3503 (Station 89-5) attended a fundraiser for Tunnel to Towers Foundation in Long Island. A big thank you to our friends/brothers Mike Perrone, Gianna, Instructors from FDNY (active and retired), and everyone who helped out the fundraiser together. Firefighters from as far away as Los Angeles City were in attendance for the fundraiser.

Members from the Central Pennsylvania area made the trip to Boston for the line of duty death service of Rescue 2 Fireman Bobby Kilduff.

City units operated on the scene of this fire this morning. Crews arrived to find smoke showing from both floors and located a working kitchen fire, quickly extinguishing such. A Platoon working.

This morning as members were completing annual hose testing, Truck 99-1 and Engine 99-9 were dispatched to assist West Manchester Township Fire Department with a 2nd alarm Structure Fire. Crews arrived and completed searches, fire attack, and overhaul on the second and third floors of the delta exposures. B Platoon working.

Early this morning, Local 627 members were dispatched to the 1000Blk of West Poplar St for a reported structure fire with entrapment on a rear balcony. Crews arrived to find fire in the basement of a three story end of the row and that the occupants had managed to evacuate. The fire was quickly extinguished and all searches proved negative. B Platoon Working.
