Join us at 7:00 p.m. at the York Town Craft Guild. We’ll be continuing our Sawdust Secrets series with a demonstration on dovetail joinery.

If you have a project or tool for show-and-tell, bring it along! Your project can be anywhere from the very early stages to completely finished. Or maybe bring something that didn’t quite work out the way you planned—we can all relate!

We had a wonderful time at the Glen Rock Arts & Brew Fest on Saturday!

It was great meeting so many new people, making sawdust, sharing our work, and introducing kids and families to woodworking. Our children’s birdhouse activity was a big success, with all 30 birdhouses heading to new homes. We also appreciate HoneySuckle Builds for generously supplying the lumber.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, and spent time with us. We’re grateful for the opportunity to share woodworking with the community!

This Saturday June 6th, the Susquehanna Trail Woodworker’s guild will be returning to the Glen Rock Arts & Brew Fest. The guild will have hand crafted items for sale and provide demonstrations throughout the day. We will also have a free children’s bird house activity. Special thanks to HoneySuckle Builds for generously providing the lumber. Members of the guild had a fun day in the shop creating some saw dust prepping all of the kits.

The April STWG meeting will be tomorrow, April 23rd at 7 pm. The usual place at the Craft Guild. This month we’re doing something a little different.

Taking a small step away from traditional woodworking, and taking a look at other crafts and skills. This meeting will focus on leatherwork. Our guest will be David from Manual Madness Leather works. He’ll be discussing and demonstrating leather craft, and discussing how it relates to woodwork.

Please bring to show and tell any woodworking items that you have incorporated leather into design.
