Fostering Hope York Fostering Hope of York County is dedicated to supporting the foster families of York County.

Fostering Hope wants to provide an exchange of resources to those who are willing and able to turn their families into foster families. We work with general, kinship, pre/post adoptive and first families on safety plans. We believe in healthy reunification and strive to help make that possible when we can.

Every young person deserves a safe and supported start to adulthood!

Right now, we are supporting a teen who has recently aged out of Foster Care and has moved into his very first apartment. Aging out of foster care can be overwhelming and isolating — but our community has the power to make sure no young person has to do it alone.

We are currently collecting donations of essential items, including:

• Men’s clothing (Size Medium)
• Men’s shoes (Size 10–10.5)
• Household necessities such as toilet paper, laundry detergent, paper towels, cleaning supplies, etc.
• Gift cards to Target, Walmart, or Amazon to help him purchase additional needs for his home

Every donation, no matter the size, helps create stability, dignity, and hope for a young adult beginning this next chapter of life.

Please send us a DM if you are able to help support this teen as he builds a foundation for his future. ❤️
