This is a free event wonderful opportunity to get local training and see what is being done right here in Nebraska to combat Human Trafficking.

Join us for our 3rd Annual Human Trafficking Awareness Event on July 31 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. 💙

As a proud partner of the Blue Lighting Initiative, Lincoln Airport hosts this annual event to bring our community together and learn from local organizations working to combat human trafficking.

The event will feature:

➡️Food trucks (World Plates & Lemonade Lab)
➡️A panel discussion featuring local experts
➡️Participation in the Red Sand Project, a powerful public art initiative that raises awareness about human trafficking and those who may otherwise go unseen.

Another organization that started here in Nebraska is Love Justice International this organization fights human trafficking at an international level with Monitors who are trained to recognize the red flags and intercept individuals who are moving through know trafficking routes. Ultimately preventing many from falling victim to trafficking schemes. The link below shares just one of thousands of stories and provides links to many other resources on International Trafficking. It is a call to action and provide more awareness.
