What types of law enforcement officers could I encounter when entering or leaving the United States? At the border, you are likely to encounter Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers, and you may encounter Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents. 🧡The image below features beautiful cards designed by an incredible community member who raised funds to support immigrant rights through their sale. Incredibly creative, brilliant and beautiful! We are so thankful!

Each step towards immigrant rights and access to justice is progress. We are thankful for the collective community, doing so many things to ensure immigrants in Pennsylvania are afforded dignity and due process. We are honored to walk alongside you!

Thank you Bound Books !! Our community needs all of us.💚

Friday, 1/30 is the National Shutdown, and as a result, we will be closed.

If you have visited our store and looked at the books on our shelves, you can clearly tell a lot about us and our values. We try to keep politics out of our posts, with the thought that our store is a space where everyone and every book is welcome. We do not believe in censorship or judgment.

With all of that said, this has gone beyond politics. What is happening is an issue of how we treat each other as people.

It is sometimes hard as a small business to figure out our place in this crazy world we're living in. We often feel that we are only one person, or one business, so what can we do? We have decided this is what we can do. We do also realize that not every business has the ability to shut down, so if you must spend tomorrow, please consider purchasing from your local neighbors.

We can also share resources. At the bottom of this post you will find information for a local organization that needs your support. We ask that, whatever you would have spent on a book in our store, you please consider using that money to donate to this organization or another like it instead.

Thank you all for your ongoing support. Our little book community means the world to us. Let's continue to love and support each other.
