Thank you for your incredible response to Fall 2026 registration. Since opening on 4/3, we've seen a strong wave of returning families and new players signing up, and several divisions are already well on their way to capacity.

As a reminder, once a division fills, it automatically moves to waitlist mode, and historically, registration closes within 3 to 5 weeks. If you've been planning to register but haven't yet, now is the time to.

Fall 2026 is coming. 🏈

AFL registration is officially OPEN and we could not be more excited to kick off another season of Friday night football at Esperanza High School.

This fall we are also launching on a brand new platform, LeagueOS. Head to ylafl.leagueos.app to get registered today.

We hope everyone had a great week and is ready for another Friday night on the fields. As we head into Week 5, we have a few important updates to share, including some scheduling changes, upcoming time off, and a big announcement.

Friday nights at Esperanza hit different. 🏈

Three weeks in and the Spring 2026 season is already full of moments worth remembering - big plays, bigger smiles, and everything in between. Weeks 1, 2, and 3 are all live at photos.ylafl.com and we're dropping some of the season's top voted shots right here.

🏈 Spring 2026 Pre-Season Clinics Registration is LIVE!

Get your players ready for the season! Our optional pre-season clinics are open for registration and designed for all experience levels... Whether it's their first time on the field or they're coming back to sharpen their skills.

Each session is led by experienced AFL coaches in a positive, encouraging, and well-organized environment.

Clinic Dates:
- Sunday, Feb 8 — 12:00–2:00 PM (Super Bowl Sunday!)
- Sunday, Feb 15 — 2:00–4:00 PM
- Sunday, Feb 22 — 2:00–4:00 PM

Location: Esperanza High School West Campus
(Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in)

What your players will work on:
- Agility and speed development
- Ball handling and catching fundamentals
- Route running basics
- Position-specific instruction (QB, RB, WR, defense)
- Flag pulling and defensive positioning

All flag football, no full-contact drills. Players should bring non-metal cleats, athletic shorts, and a water bottle. AFL provides all equipment. Mouth guard optional but recommended.
