As many of you know, last year was especially challenging for non-profit organizations working to raise the funds needed to continue serving their communities and FFAM was no exception. Yet despite those challenges, the need for our mission has only grown.
The Re-Entry Lodge continues to be filled nearly every weekend, welcoming military families and singles from Fort Irwin, Miramar Air Station and Camp Pendleton. We are also excited to now extend this support to members of the united States Coast Guard.
For the service members and families we host, the Lodge is more than just a place to stay, it is a place of peace, healing, reconnection, and restoration. It offers them a much-needed opportunity to step away from the pressures of military life and simply breathe, regroup and spend meaningful time together.
At the same time, the cost of operating the Lodge continues to rise. From utilities and groceries to maintenance and everyday essentials, expenses have increased across the board. But now more than ever, our military families need this refuge.
That is why your support matters so deeply.
By participating in our golf tournament, sponsoring the event, or simply joining us for dinner, you are helping FFAM continue to provide this life-giving retreat at no cost to those who serve and sacrifice so much for all of us.
