🌼✨ What a fabulous Sunday at Flower House! ✨🌼

I had the pleasure of wandering through Lyndhurst, which was transformed into a breathtaking floral wonderland! 🌸🏰 For just one weekend, we explored all three floors of this stunning Gilded Age mansion, surrounded by jaw-dropping floral artistry that perfectly complemented the opulent interiors.

This year’s Flower House had so many unique displays to check out, plus endless photo ops for families and friends. 📸❤️ After soaking in all that beauty, we indulged in some delicious bites from food trucks and vendors at the Flower House Market. Yum!

🌸🌸 Did you know that Yonkers has its very own cherry blossom legacy? 🌸🌸

Thanks to the dedicated ladies of the Luther Burbank Garden Club, Rumsey Road is now a stunning cherry blossom haven! 🌳✨ Back in 1928, they started with a vision to rival Washington, D.C.'s cherry trees, and by 1936, they had planted 25 trees! Fast forward to today, and that number has blossomed into a beautiful community treasure.

Fun Fact: In 1963, they won a $100 prize for their amazing work in beautifying our streets! 🏆

So, whether you're strolling or snapping pics, take a moment to appreciate the rich history behind those gorgeous blooms. 🌼💖

🌼✨ Daffodil Delight Alert! ✨🌼

Hey, friends! Did you know that the stunning daffodils blooming around Leslye Sutherland Park, the 911 Memorial, and the Wendover Shakespeare Garden are all thanks to the Luther Burbank Garden Club, in collaboration with the Yonkers Land Conservancy and the fabulous Norma Silva? 🌷💚

After our September cleanup, those lovely bulbs are now lighting up our neighborhood! 🌟 It’s a beautiful reminder of how teamwork can create something amazing!
