On Sunday, September 20, 2026, the young men of MBK Yonkers volunteered at the 99th Yonkers Marathon sponsored by the City of Yonkers Department of Parks, Recreation, and Conservation. Our young men cheered on runners and served at the water station along the race route alongside Mr. Greg Joyner, Program Coordinator. The brothers did an amazing job, and they enjoyed making a contribution to their community. Yonkers Public Schools

This summer, we’re celebrating the approximately 35 MBK Yonkers seniors recognized during our Senior Send-Off. Each graduate received a stole honoring their hard work, leadership, and commitment to reaching this milestone.

As our scholars move into college, careers, employment, and new opportunities, they remain an important part of the MBK Yonkers community. We’re proud of what they have accomplished and excited to see where their next chapter takes them.

Are you a MBK Yonkers Alum? Are you a Westchester County community member who enjoys working with BYMOC? Are you an upperclassman who attends a YPS high school such as Barack Obama, Gorton, Lincoln, or Yonkers Middle High School? If any of these questions resonate with you... we want to see YOU! Join 2025 NYS MBK Fellow and Harvard freshman, Marcus Knight, Jr. as he launches his community service learning project in partnership with MBK Yonkers and Harvard SPARK. Our first workshop will be on July 16th, 2026, from 6 pm- 7 pm, with emails sent out to the students who have signed up and listed their personal emails.
