Another incredible Opening Day in the books for the Spring 2026 Yonkers Girls Flag Football League 💪🏽🏈

We’re proud to continue building something special here in Yonkers—creating opportunities, developing talent, and empowering the next generation of female athletes.

A heartfelt thank you to the City of Yonkers, Mike Spano, and the Parks Department for your continued support and commitment to our youth and community.

Special appreciation to David Tubiolo for his unwavering support of our league. Not only was he in attendance showing love to our athletes, but he also stepped up to sponsor one of our teams—the Buffalo Bills. That level of commitment does not go unnoticed.

We’re excited for what’s ahead—another competitive, high-energy season filled with growth, teamwork, and unforgettable moments.

The PA Classic was easily one of the best organized events we’ve attended. From start to finish, everything was run at a high level—staff was professional, communication was clear, and the competition environment was top tier. This is the standard every 7v7 tournament should strive for.

Big shoutout to Vic Castillo and Cory Lemer for providing incredible coverage all weekend—giving these young athletes the exposure they’ve earned. Truly an amazing experience.

We had a great mix of new faces and returning athletes come out ready to compete, learn, and take their game to the next level. The energy, effort, and passion on display today is exactly what this league is all about — building confidence, skills, and opportunities for our young women.

Another great milestone for Yonkers athletics! 🏈🔥

Shoutout to the Yonkers Girls Flag Football team for proudly representing our city at this year’s NY Giants 5th Annual Girls Flag Kickoff Event at Somers High School. Events like this continue to show how fast the game is growing and how much talent is coming out of Yonkers.

Even more exciting — this season marks another major step forward with the addition of a Girls JV team to the roster! This expansion means more opportunities for young athletes to compete, develop, and be part of something special.

The future of girls flag football in Yonkers is bright, and this is just the beginning. Amazing things are coming for Yonkers sports and our athletes!
