“You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” — Matthew 22:37

In today’s Gospel, Jesus is asked to name the greatest commandment. His answer brings everything back to love: love God completely, and love your neighbor as yourself.

These commandments give direction to every part of Christian life. Love of God shapes our priorities, and that love must overflow into the way we treat the people around us. Holiness is lived in the concrete choices we make to love God and serve others each day.

🙏 Lord, teach us to love You with our whole hearts and to recognize and serve You in our neighbors.
