Congratulations Ted Erlwein and Jessica Moore!

Ted and Jessica recently received their “Blue” Rotary badges, indicating their accomplishments within the Rotary program.

It’s easy to join an organization. It takes much more to become a part of its heart, and Ted and Jessica have done just that.

Photographed with Ted and Jessica is Yerington Club President Mary Snyder.

Today we recognize the incredible women who shape our lives with their strength, patience, and unwavering love.
In Rotary, our guiding light is the motto "Service Above Self." It is a commitment to putting the needs of others before our own and working tirelessly to improve the world around us. While Rotarians strive to live by this principle in our community projects, we recognize that mothers live this motto every single day.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Today was Rotary-at-Work Day for your local Yerington Club.

Several of your local club members and the 4H Club were at the Fair Grounds to help clean and prepare for the 4H show season that is fast approaching.

Other club members were across town at another event. That’s right. Rotary CAN be two places at once!
It’s a skill they develop as part of their membership.
Joining Rotary may help you develop this unique ability too!

Rotary Club of Yerington meets on Tuesday evenings. If you’re interested in learning more about Rotary and all of the service we provide in the name of community please message us to learn more!

Yerington, NV — March 14, 2026 — The Rotary Club of Yerington hosted a highly successful evening of community, music, and philanthropy at its annual Boots, Buckles and Bling barn dance, held March 14 at the Snyder Onion Shed. The event brought together approximately 400 attendees for a lively night supporting Rotary’s ongoing service initiatives.

Guests enjoyed an authentic country experience featuring a delicious prime rib dinner, followed by live music and dancing to the popular band Left of Centre. The festive atmosphere was complemented by a variety of fundraising activities, including a silent auction, raffle, and an energetic live auction, all of which contributed to the evening’s success.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Rotary Club of Yerington’s many community programs and charitable efforts. Among the most impactful is the club’s commitment to youth scholarships, which typically exceed $30,000 annually, helping local students pursue higher education opportunities.

“This event truly reflects the spirit of our community,” said a Rotary Club representative. “We’re grateful to everyone who attended, donated, and supported our mission. The generosity shown ensures we can continue making a meaningful difference, especially for our local youth.”

The Boots, Buckles and Bling barn dance continues to grow each year, reinforcing its role as a cornerstone fundraising event and a celebration of Yerington’s strong community ties.
