This is Elaine. She is a 2 year old blue pit. She is such a sweet girl. She is great with kids and other dogs. She loves to play with the other dogs. She is a bit shy with people she doesn't know but is such a cuddle bug once she warms up to you. (She warms up quickly.) She's not very hyper. She has more of a laid back personality. She is house trained. She goes to the door when she needs to go potty. She is up to date on shots and micro-chipped. She is all ready to find her forever home.

I am trying to save this baby from our local shelter in Hampton County, SC. She has to have her leg amputated due to stupid people not taking her to the vet after a serious injury... She has so much life in her.. Please help me save her!!! O_O SHARE SHARE SHARE

this baby was brought into the shelter last night foot cut off by what they believe was a bear trap and was left to rot for over a month when they decided to bring him in, chances are once the infection and rot is gone amputation will be next!! I will have 3 dogs coming from a high kill shelter in Rutherfordton NC. Once they are fully vetted and trained they will be up for adoption. Please keep checking this site for updates.

This is so sad. How can anyone let this happen. How about his parents. Please don't let this stop you from believing in young rescuers. Not all "CHILD" animal rescuers are bad. We are the next generation. And his parents should have done the right thing. And if it was his parents he should have put a stop to it. He is old enough to know right from wrong. :((

Are there any activists in Atlanta Georgia who may be able to help with a situation involving some dogs at risk due to possible hoarding and/or severe neglect?
