The staff at Truly Motivated are the " secret sauce" to the work we do. We're grateful for the faithful service of those who have poured their gifts, time, lived experience, love and heart into our organization and the brave men and women we serve.
We wanted to share some recent staffing transitions and hope you will join us in celebrating those who have spent time and moved on after years of impactful service and who is new to our team.
In April we said farewell to Tom & Barbara Alig. Tom & Barb served as Staff Coaches with us for combined 11 years. They prayerfully led morning devotions with our participants, taught classes, Bible studies and spent countless hours in one-on-one Genesis coaching. As usual, in non-profit work, Tom & Barbara had specific roles and duties, but were also always ready to jump in on anything that was needed. Tom also served as our Program Director and Barbara as an Administrative Assistant. We are incredibly grateful for their dedication and the many ways they poured into Truly Motivated and helped us further our mission to change lives. We wish Tom & Barbara all the best as they enjoy retirement and their grandkids and pups together!
We also welcomed Cassie Waddill to the team in April as Women's Staff Coach. Cassie brings energy and a love for Jesus and people, and we are delighted to have her join us! Here is Cassie in her own words-
" I am incredibly honored and excited to be a part of the team here at Truly Motivated as the new Women’s Staff Coach. My own story is one of redemption which began with my heart being changed and life fully transformed by Jesus. Through every season of my life, God assigned people to love on me; including the years I spent in active addiction, homelessness and in toxic relationships.
I am an active member of Faith Life, a full gospel church in Rochester, WA and a recent Thurston County Drug Court graduate. Over the years, God has used many experiences to shape me through integrity, accountability, healing and community. Through recovery, discipleship, transitional programs, and the grace of God I’ve experienced firsthand what it means to have people believe in you before you fully believe in yourself.
Today, I’m passionate about walking alongside women as they rebuild their lives and discover the hope and purpose God has for them. I’m thankful for the opportunity to pour back into others what was and continuously is being poured into me."
