💜 RUBY BRIDGES WALK TO SCHOOL DAY 💜

Friday, November 14 | 7:30 a.m.
📍 Starting at the Coretta Scott King Center (781 Livermore St.)

Join students, families, and community members as we walk together to honor the legacy of Ruby Bridges — the brave first grader who helped pave the way for school integration and equality in 1960.

EVENT SCHEDULE
🕖 7:20 a.m. — Grab your FREE hot chocolate and FREE purple flag
🕢 7:30 a.m. — Opening remarks
🕣 7:40 a.m. — Walk to Mills Lawn

Walk alongside students, families, and neighbors while enjoying a Story Walk led by Mills Lawn Student Council members, who will share excerpts from Ruby Bridges books along the route.

🕗 7:55 a.m. — Arrive at Mills Lawn
🎁 8:00 a.m. — Students receive an activity passport!
Those who complete their passports can turn them in at the Yellow Springs Library for a FREE Ruby Bridges book!
