The YSSMC Yellow Springs Summer Music Camp (formally YS Summer Strings & Band Camp) has been in existence since 1964. Camp co-founder, Shirley Mullins, a nationally known music educator, author and clinician is still very active in the camps' day to day activities. This day music camp is two consecutive weeks each summer held at Mills Lawn Elementary school in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Wind band or st

ring orchestra students with a strong love of music and at least one year's experience on their instrument are welcome. Passionate faculty, guest clinicians, full ensemble, chamber music, private lessons, music theory, conducting, students recitals, week ending and Grande Finale concerts, fun!
