Agraria Center for Regenerative Practice

Agraria Center for Regenerative Practice Agraria is a nonprofit working toward Bioregional Regeneration in Southwest Ohio.

We research, demonstrate, and teach practices to restore the health of our soil, the diversity of our ecosystems, and the resilience of our communities. At Agraria, we offer a 10-month Regenerative Farmer Fellowship for aspiring BIPOC farmers; incubator plots for beginning farmers; annual conferences on Black farming and regenerative agriculture; workshops for gardeners, herbalists and homesteader

s; youth programs that teach regenerative skills and nature literacy; and nature-based curriculum for K-12. We also partner with area universities on research, support gardens and farmer's markets serving food insecure communities in the region, convene a national BIPOC Farming Network, and host community gatherings at our farm to celebrate agrarian culture.

Thanks dowmoving for helping one of our community elders move out of the farmhouse and into their new downtown apartment.

The crew went above and beyond and helped unpack and stage the new apartment. Thanks so much 🙏🏼

Meet our Miller Fellow, Ethan. He manages our compost facility, helps with land stewardship, and provides administrative, outreach, & event support.

Another beautiful weekend in the garden with our amazing volunteers!

We set up cooling stations to help beat the heat and enjoyed fresh berries, veggies, iced hibiscus tea, and two nourishing soups to help rehydrate.

Come visit the farm every Saturday from 10am-12pm (though we’re usually still around to the late afternoon). Pick up some free seeds at our seed library, enjoy a snack, take a tour, walk/ride on the bike path, or lend a hand in the learning garden and help Al meet his goal of growing 10,000 pounds of food to donate to our local pantries.

See ya on the farm! 👋👩🏻‍🌾👩🏾‍🌾🧑🏻‍🌾

We’re getting water to the learning garden thanks to support from Cabbage Hill Foundation.

Rain Brothers are building water catchment systems across the farm to help us recycle rain water to feed our growing spaces.
