Welcome back!

It was an announcement met with applause during the recent Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting.

No weekly calendar this week! It's literally just private meetings all week — wild times! Have some new books instead, now with a little webpage https://yazoolibraryassociation.org/books/ which we'll be updating over the coming months to make it a little easier to tell what's new.

Library goes to market! The farmers market looked amazing! Hopefully it's the first of many!

10/02/2026

We wanted to invite folks to take a peak at our new display right in the entryway, we were inspired to set it up by Charles Crimm bringing us arrowheads he had found to display for a time. We took the invitation to break out some of our old fossils, artifacts and news-clippings.

Sorry the picture doesn't really capture it! It's shockingly hard to get a low-glare picture of a glass box with glass shelves in a sunlit room😅 but it's probably better to look at them in person anyway!

PS: Visit the farmers market tomorrow! It's over by subway from 8 until noon! Yazoo Roots Farmer's Market
