Woodson County families who are concerned about SNAP benefits being at risk, please remember we have the Woodson County Ministerial Alliance food pantry at 307 South Grove. It is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 AM to noon. First time guests, please bring a photo ID and a piece of mail showing a Woodson County address.

Hey there!

Get your engines revving because you're invited to the 2025 Woodson County Vacation Bible School! This year, we're hitting the open road with our exciting theme: "Road Trip"!

Based on Joshua 1:9 – "The LORD your God is with you wherever you go" – we'll be discovering that God's presence is with us on every mile of life's journey. Join us as we, our "Travelers," explore new places, make fantastic new friends, and experience God's amazing goodness together.

Led by our trusty Navigator and the adventurous pup Scout, we'll dive into incredible stories from the Navigators' Guide (that's the Bible!) and learn timeless lessons of faith from both the Old and New Testaments. Get ready for a fun-filled adventure packed with twists, turns, and the exciting knowledge that God is always by our side, no matter where the road takes us.

Here are the important details for your journey:
• Destination: Yates Center United Methodist Church, 307 S Grove St
• Dates of Travel: July 28th - August 1st
• Fuel Up (Dinner): Delicious dinners will be provided each evening, thanks to the wonderful churches and members of the Woodson County Ministerial Alliance.

Friends and Families of the Woodson County Graduating Class of 2025,

The Woodson County Ministerial Alliance warmly invites you to a special Baccalaureate service honoring our graduating seniors. Join us on Wednesday, May 14th, 2025, at 7:00 PM as we come together as a community to celebrate their achievements and offer blessings for their journey ahead.

This service will be held at Yates Center United Methodist Church, located at 307 S. Grove St., Yates Center, KS 66783. It will be a time for reflection, inspiration, and gratitude, featuring words of encouragement from our local faith leaders. It's an opportunity to pause amidst the excitement of graduation and acknowledge the dedication, hard work, and support that have brought these students to this significant milestone.

We believe in the strength of our community and the importance of lifting up our young people as they step into their futures. Your presence will mean a great deal to the graduates and their families.

Let us gather in Yates Center to celebrate their accomplishments and offer our collective well wishes for the paths that lie before them.
