Playgrounds for Palestine

Playgrounds for Palestine This project is an expression of solidarity with the plight of Palestinian children. It is an affirmation of their right to childhood. It is an act of love.

It is a minimal recognition of their humanity. HOLIDAY GIFTS: PALESTINIAN OLIVE OIL AND DONATING IN THE NAME OF A LOVED ONE

Looking for a gift to give your loved ones this holiday season? Consider buying them bottles of Palestinian olive oil or making a donation to PfP in their names. Big news โ€“ we have recently made arrangements for PfP to have its own olive oil label! This olive oil is produced

by members of the Palestinian Fair Trade Association and comes to us by way of Mountain High Imports, a U.S.-based distribution company. We are selling oil on our website at http://www.playgroundsforpalestine.org/list_oils.php for $24 per 12 ounce bottle or $250 per case of 12 bottles, and we now have the capacity to ship anywhere within the continental United States. We promise that these bottles of premium quality olive oil make fabulous gifts! Or, if you want to offer a truly unique gift for the holidays, make a donation to PfP in the name of a relative or friend. For any gift donation, we will provide you with a special decorative certificate with the gift recipientโ€™s name, the amount donated, a short description of Playgrounds for Palestine, and a picture of one of our completed playgrounds. And remember that this is a double-duty gift โ€“ you will be offering the gift of a helping heart to your loved one and offering the gift of play to a Palestinian child, all at the same time. Thank you for your continued support of PfP. As always, please spread the word to your Facebook friends!

We are proud to celebrate five outstanding students from our school who successfully passed an intelligence assessment conducted by the American-based Sanabel Foundation, supported by the Muslim American community. ๐ŸŒŸ

The assessment was part of the selection process for the Sami Project, a unique initiative that focuses on developing childrenโ€™s character, ethical values, and leadership qualities alongside their academic growth. The project aims to nurture confident, compassionate, and principled young people.

Today, our students Retal, Judy, Abed, Said Youssef, and Sara were honored at a special recognition ceremony celebrating those who successfully passed the assessment. We were delighted to attend and celebrate this achievement with them.

Congratulations to our five students on this well-deserved recognition. We are incredibly proud of them and look forward to seeing all they accomplish in the future. ๐Ÿ’›

We are proud to celebrate five outstanding students from our school who successfully passed an intelligence assessment conducted by the American-based Sanabel Foundation, supported by the Muslim American community.

The assessment was part of the selection process for the Sami Project, a unique initiative that focuses not only on academic achievement, but also on character development, ethical values, and nurturing students into confident, compassionate, and principled individuals. The project takes its name from the Arabic word Sami, meaning noble or elevated, reflecting its mission to cultivate strong character and positive values in children.

The foundation hosted a special ceremony to recognize the students who passed the assessment. We were honored to attend alongside our five students and celebrate their achievement.

Congratulations to

Retal

Even in difficult circumstances, our children find ways to create joy. ๐Ÿคโœจ

Every child deserves moments of celebration, laughter, and hope. ๐Ÿ’›

Despite everything our children have been deprived of this Eid, and despite the beautiful celebrations they have missed, their small hearts still find ways to create joy in the simplest moments ๐Ÿคโœจ

With their little hands, our children lovingly created an โ€œEid sheep,โ€ bringing smiles to their faces and holding onto the spirit of Eid despite the difficult circumstances ๐ŸŒ™๐ŸŽˆ

We believe Eid is not only about celebrations and appearances, but about love, togetherness, and the joy we create with our children no matter the challenges ๐Ÿ’›

Every moment of happiness we plant in their hearts becomes a new source of hope and a beautiful memory they will carry with them ๐ŸŒธ

May your Eid be filled with joy, and may our childrenโ€™s hearts always remain full of hope.

This is how our fourth grade students created the Threads of the Sun of Hope โ˜€๏ธโœจ

Each child made a wish, wrote their name on a ribbon of hope, and added it to our growing sun. Every ribbon carried a dream and a heartfelt prayer that one day, God willing, these wishes will come true.

A beautiful reminder that children continue to dream, hope, and imagine brighter futures. ๐Ÿ’›

More than a dance. It is culture, belonging, and joy. ๐Ÿ’š

Watching our students perform dabke is a reminder that children carry not only dreams for the future, but the traditions and stories of generations before them.

Everyday we are inspired by the strength and brilliance of our students and teachers! May their loud and proud voices remind us all that every child deserves to learn, play and dream!

Little hands, big lessons. Today our students learned the importance of hygiene through fun, hands-on activities that help build healthy habits for life. From washing hands to caring for our bodies, these everyday routines are powerful acts of self-care and wellbeing. ๐Ÿงผโœจ Healthy children learn, play, and thrive.
