Prayers & Stitches Long Island, NY based stitchers living out 1Peter4:10 by serving our neighbors in need. We have a new home at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Yaphank, NY!

We are creating prayer shawls, lap blankets, afghans, quilts, adult hats and scarves as well as infant & breavement items for our Long Island community, the tri-state area and occassionally for wider distribution. We hope to show our neighbors in need the love of Christ at a time of uncertainty in their lives, and to gently assure them that God is faithful, even in the face of loneliness, illness

and loss. If you knit, crochet, sew or quilt and would like to use your skills to bless those in need, please join us. Meetings are usually the last Saturday of the month from 10:30am -12:30pm at St Andrew's Episcopal Church, 244 E Main St, Yaphank, NY 11980.
