HB 1010 failed to pass the House. I am beyond disappointed in our lawmakers.

HB 1010 passed 9-2 in the trasportation committee Now, on to the House floor.

HB 1010 is referred to Next Tuesday to make adjustment in wording. Then hopefully pass ctranslortation committee then to House floor next week. Prayers all goes well. This is year #3 for this bill of handsfree cell phone use.

HB 1010 bill for hand free cell phone / electronics will be in Transportation Committee on Feb 3rd. I am hoping it goes to the house and passes there. Wish us luck. Anyone want to testify can send an email from the agenda and call in to support this Bill.

In just 15 minutes of watching traffic at Trailhead Learning Center on icy road and parking lot. I counted 25 people that felt they had to be texting and driving. Also people driving way too fast in the drop off circle and parking lot. Need to have speed limit signs posted. School zone and put the phones down people! What if a child slips in front of you when you are driving through the drop off lane. Be smart.

Well we tried to pass HB1117 hands free law on cellphone. It did not pass and we are saddened by this result. Some of the legislators do not want to put there phones down. They are possibly the ones swerving across the centerlines while lines on our roadways. It won’t stop me. We will work on it again but there will be more deaths on our roadways because it is legal to hold your phone. And people are doing more than just talking on the phone.
