Help Sweet Adult Cat Luna Recover from Serious Infection – Needs 2 Weeks at Vet
Dear Friends, Animal Lovers, and Kind Supporters,
We’re reaching out for urgent but manageable help to save one of our own.
Luna is a gentle 10-year-old rescue who’s been with us for several years. Last week, she stopped eating and spiked a high fever. Tests revealed a severe bacterial infection that requires two weeks of inpatient care at the vet.
She’s stable but needs:

Daily IV antibiotics and fluids
Regular check-ups and meds
A quiet space to heal

Her total estimated bill: $800–$1,000. That’s a big hit for our small, volunteer-run rescue — but we can cover it together.
Luna is the sweetest soul: she head-butts for pets, sleeps on laps, and watches birds for hours. She’s already responding to treatment and purring again. We need a little boost to get her home.

Found near our rescue wearing a leash and choke collar, Basil was initially wary of humans and joined our feral colony for meals. With patience and care, he gradually warmed up, eventually strolling through our back door and deciding to stay! This brave boy underwent successful eye surgery to correct an issue with his third eyelid, and he’s now fully vetted, neutered, and up to date on all shots—healthy and definitely not blind!
