Hello Nobles,

I am Brian Courtney and I am running to be your next Imperial Outer Guard in Tampa at Imperial session 2026.

It was so wonderful to attend and participate in the various Shrine Associations I have visited so far. Each one has been very special and all of them unique in their own way.

As I continue on my journey to be your next Imperial Outer Guard I am truly humbled by what I see from all the Shriners & their families I have met. All of you inspire me to be the best I can be because I am doing this for all of you. I am a blue collar guy and a Veteran with the same Morales, Values and bills that you all have. I don’t want to see Nobles leave because they can’t afford to pay their bills and membership dues. WE want to see your Temples vibrant, WE want to see your membership increase, more FUN events and clubs to do with your FAMILIES involved. This is what will make us flourish.

We can do this, but ALL of you have to help out. Everyone bring in one new Noble and bring in a new Mason and make him a Shriner. The guys you go golfing with, shooting with, meet for a cigar or drink, a neighbor or at work. If we want to survive as an organization ALL of YOU have to step up and bring in new members. Potentates start a program to reward those that bring in new members. Put these guys on a pedestal, make them feel appreciated. Everyone likes to feel good for helping out. Also a program to help older Nobles that cant pay their dues if you dont already have one.

Get a Membership Director that will do the job along with an Assistant so the load isn’t on one guy. Two heads are better than one. Remember to think outside the box in bringing in new members. What works in one town might not work in another. Share your ideas within your Association, Let them succeed also. It’s a WIN WIN for Shrinedome all around.
