Lori is the person at the Yakima County landfill that set aside bikes for us to refurbish and give away to kids. Most people don’t know that a good portion of the bikes we give away are those that are thrown away. Recycling is a big part of our FB4K mission. If you can, please consider helping Lori, a great community partner, as she battles skin cancer.

We had a blast giving away 100 free bikes in Mighty Tieton. Thank you Tieton Police Department and Chief Jeff Ketchum for inviting us.

We are proud to share that 13 students each received $1,500 scholarships, courtesy of the Yakima Kiwanis Charitable Trust, as well as one student receiving $1,500 thanks to the partnership of Baker Boyer Bank. With scholarships available for those who qualify, visit perrytech.edu and find your future in one of our hands-on programs.

Gio grew out of the bike we gave him last year and is ready to take this sweet Trek out on the trails. Thanks for donating your old bike Gio, we’ll make sure it gets a great new kid.
