W**d whackin party at Konnowac Pass

We'll meet at the trailhead at 7am. We will head down Alter Native and Iron Fist and work until about 11am, aim to be back at cars by noon.

Hey Yakima! Guess what? We low-key reconnected the Green Harvester trail back into Walk n Roll. It's kind of rough and fresh and not marked. Its there though and could use some traffic to help it wear in.

So, head up to Rocky Top and go find the new stuff! Rocky Top is alive and still a fun time! For reference, it roughly follows the dotted yellow line in this image.

Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday! We love getting work done up at Rocky Top.

One thing that was very apparent after spending a few hours up there - the trails are still very muddy and saturated with water. Rocky Top will need to remain closed until further notice. Cowiche Canyon Conservancy will be keeping everyone updated on whats open and closed around the Yakima Valley.

We will be digging out and re-laying the bed of a couple giant corners on Orange Harvester.

Hey Yakima! It's been a while since we hosted a Rocky Top work party so we are pretty excited! Truth be told, winter was pretty hard on the trails up there and while they remain closed, we can get up there on foot and repair some of the bad stuff. We'll be hiking 4-5 miles and swinging hand tools in the soft hillside.

Hey STAY friends! We wish there were more updates on the Randall Park South Pumptrack project.

We are still looking for funding - so far we have been able to secure about $8000 out of a necessary $1,200,000.

Still a long ways to go! We firmly believe this park will be a catalyst for amazing growth for our community. We've been applying for grants and beating the streets, looking for funds! Please consider donating, anything helps!

STAY has these three road bikes available for adoption. There are two vintage Cannondales, one looks to be around 60cm and the other looks like a 52cm. They are in original condition and are classics! Make an offer and one or both are yours!

The 3rd bike is a Giant TCR tri bike. Its a small frame - full Ultegra kit. It has fresh foam elbow pads and is ready for racing!

Feel free to make an offer on any of these! All proceeds go to the trails.

Sometimes people donate their sweet bicycles to STAY so we can clean them up and sell them to generate trail funds! We have a couple of those bikes available here today! Any funds raised will go directly to the trails! We are currently fund raising for the Velosolutions Pumptrack we are building at Randall Park.

One is a small Giant Tri bike. Full Ultegra drivetrain and with fresh elbow pads in the cockpit. This bike is in excellent condition and ready for racing! $600

2nd is a very nice Giant gravel / road bike. This one is labelled XS and is in excellent condition. It has disc brakes and is very light and ready to put the miles on! $800

Both of these bikes are located in Yakima and are ready to go!

STAY Group MTB ride on Thanksgiving

This Thursday at 10am we will be meeting at the Yellow Gate parking lot on top of Konnowac Pass for a group ride. We'll hopefully pre-burn enough calories to devour a few plates of turkey dinner.

Expect 10-13 miles of rocky and rough singletrack, with around 1500ft of climbing. We are going to ride some new roughed in trails and some old established trails. It should be a good time!
