There are many trunk or treat events taking place today(10/26)and later this week! These events are all great alternatives to walking door-to-door on Friday evening. 🍬 🎃

About 30 agencies will be handing out goodies this evening during Suncomm's Trunk or Treat, 4-7 p.m., 2403 S. 18th St., Union Gap.

TODAY IS THE DAY!!!

Join us from 4pm to 7pm for a trunk or treating with police, fire, EMS, and utility personnel from across the valley. Elite Towing will be on site with free giveaways and hot dogs. Bring the whole family for a night full of candy, cool trucks, and fun!

Yakima Training Center has canceled its Fall Festival, but there are many other safe, family friendly activities this fall including several Trunk-or-Treats.
We will be sharing locations of area events leading up to Halloween.

Halloween is just around the corner, so we wanted to share some friendly tips for the evening. Halloween falls on a Friday, so it is likely to be very busy. There will be no road closures, but we will be doing our due diligence by alerting City Officials and requesting their presence to help keep everyone safe. Please be alert and have fun! 🧡

* Participating Houses: Lights on by 5:00, off at 8:00 (or when you run out of 🍬) to encourage crowds to dissipate.

* Non-Participating Houses: All outside lights off

*Be on the lookout for kids entering the roadway, and drive with extreme caution.

Mature trees are what set our neighborhood apart from so many others. I caught this dramatic backlit tree tonight as the sun was going down. I don’t know how old this tree is, but it certainly has been a good neighbor for many, many years.
