When a NICU stay keeps families apart, your generosity helps keep them close. 💙

Born early at just 30 weeks, Elliot needed critical care in the NICU at MultiCare Health System Yakima Memorial Hospital – making it hard for his family to always be by his side. But thanks to support from the Leslie Loudon Guild, new technology is helping bridge that gap.

The AngelEye camera system gives families a secure, real-time view of their baby. For Elliot’s family, it meant staying connected during long days apart and even helping his big sister meet her baby brother for the first time.

Last year, 174 babies received care in the NICU – many for weeks at a time. Tools like AngelEye bring comfort, connection, and peace of mind when families need it most.

Last month’s Impact Yakima spring social brought together leaders, doers, and community builders who believe in shaping the future of health in the Yakima Valley.

Impact Yakima members heard powerful stories from three philanthropy‑funded programs across MultiCare Health System Yakima Memorial Hospital: the Simulation Program, access to local cancer care at the MultiCare Cancer Institute at North Star Lodge, and the Parent to Parent program at Yakima Children's Village. Thanks to this incredible group, $6,800 was raised to strengthen these health initiatives and the patients and families they serve.

A huge thank‑you to The Kiln for hosting us, and to Fruit Packers Supply and Ashley Cortez - Mortgage Loan Officer for generously sponsoring the first drink for our paid members.

When grief and cancer collided, your compassion made the difference. 💛

During treatment for endometrial cancer, Winona unexpectedly faced the loss of her husband and struggled just to maintain her strength. Eating became overwhelming, but thanks to support from the MultiCare Health System Cancer Institute at North Star Lodge, she found a lifeline.

With guidance from an oncology dietitian and access to nutritional supplements made possible by generous partners like you, Winona was able to regain the nourishment her body needed to keep fighting.

Last year alone, more than 200 patients received this kind of critical support – helping them stay strong, supported, and focused on healing.

Thanks to an incredibly generous donation, Yakima Children's Village now has new playground communication boards, and the impact is already inspiring!

The new boards are helping our patients find their voices through play. One joyful moment says it all: a child touched the picture of the slide, ran over, and with the biggest smile, excitedly repeated their version of “slide.” 🛝✨

Moments like these remind us that access to communication opens doors – to confidence, connection, and pure childhood joy. We are so grateful to the donors for making this possible and helping our kids be seen, heard, and celebrated every day. 💛

Starting today through July 5, Walmart customers can make a difference for local kids by donating at the register through Children's Miracle Network. Your generosity supports pediatric health care at MultiCare Health System Yakima Memorial Hospital and Yakima Children's Village – helping more than 15,000 kids each year. We’re grateful for our Walmart partners and for our CMN Champion Jonah who helped kick off the campaign with a shift at the register. 💙💛

Calories don’t count this summer at Dairy Queen when you donate to Children's Miracle Network!🍦We’re grateful for our partners at DQ for helping make brighter, healthier futures possible for kids in our Valley cared for at MultiCare Health System Yakima Memorial Hospital and Yakima Children's Village, and now through July 29 you can stop by participating locations to support local kids like our 2024 CMN Champion Zane.

And don’t forget the sweetest day of the year: Miracle Treat Day on July 30 where $1 from every Blizzard Treat sold — any size, any flavor — is donated through CMN to support kids and families right here at home.
