Donations are eligible for up to TWO TOUCH HOURS.

All donations will go to local elementary schools.

Our 2022-2023 PNWU SOMA officers were recently named the Golden Femur Chapter of the Year by the National SOMA. This award recognized a chapter that best demonstrated the mission of SOMA in promoting osteopathic medicine and advocacy. We are so proud of them and grateful for the foundation they have built for our medical students!

Our SOMA officers have been working hard this week! On DO Day they met with members of Congress to discuss various topics that matter most to us as future physicians and to our future patients! These topics include:

📢REDI Act which will allow student in medical or dental residency programs or internships to defer student loan payments until completion of their program

📢Extend the THCGME program which aims to increase primary care residency programs in community-based patient care settings throughout underserved and rural areas

🎉 Great work advocating on behalf of the PNWU community!

SOMA’s annual Mini Med School was a success! 🙉👏🏻🎉 Thank you to the pediatrics club for helping us put together an amazing event highlighting what it is like to be a medical student at PNWU 🩺🩻🥼 A special shout-out to Sabrina Do (SOMA VP) and Paria Karbassi (SOMA Treasurer) for all of their hard work on bringing this event to life. Thank you to all of the community members for coming to campus and giving the stressed medical students a break to act like a kid again!
