Philanthropy starts with something simple: a love of humanity.

At Yakima Valley Community Foundation, we believe everyone has a desire to give back—it just looks different for each person.

For some, it’s supporting a favorite nonprofit. For others, it’s responding to community needs, volunteering time, or thinking about the legacy they want to leave behind.

Our latest blog explores what philanthropy can look like here in the Yakima Valley and how YVCF helps donors turn their values, experiences, and goals into meaningful community impact.

A special thank you to Ester Huey and the Neighborhood Committee for hosting such a thoughtful celebration and for their continued dedication to the community.
