Thank you to the North Carolina Community Foundation (Yadkin Legacy Fund) for awarding us a grant for our Yadkinville Junior Appalachian Musicians, Inc program. This grant in honor of the Pauline β€œPolly” Hudspeth Wood & Dr. William L. Wood Sr. Endowment will go towards upgrading and increasing our loaner instrument collection so that more of the youth in our community will be able to participate in this wonderful program!

The Yadkin County Community Foundation, a North Carolina Community Foundation affiliate, has awarded $21,350 in grants to 11 organizations supporting the local community.

Welcome to the Renaissance and the outrageous, crowd-pleasing musical farce, SOMETHING ROTTEN! Set in the 1590s, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play but are stuck in the shadow of that Renaissance rock star known as β€œThe Bard.” When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing and acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first musical. But amidst the scandalous excitement of opening night, the Bottom Brothers realize that reaching the top means being true to thine own self, and all that jazz. Something Rotten features large song and dance numbers, and a wacky cast of over-the-top characters, each with their own moment to shine. so don’t miss your chance to see this history-twisting tale on the Willingham Theater stage!
