The first year for “Snuffy’s Shuffle” was a great success! Lots of memories made and great connection to old friends and new friends who came to the tribute for “Snuffy”!
So happy that we did so well to offer at least two scholarships to our local vocational school…the Greene County Career Center! $2500 each!

These are tough times and anytime we can help is great! I know they will appreciate it very much!
My motto had been:

LET’S DO GOOD…
Give a helping hand!

Looking forward to next year…maybe in addition we will add a golf outing! Exciting!

It is with heartfelt pride that I share this special event to honor the legacy of my husband John “Snuffy” Smith!

For 25 years we had the privilege of owning Buckminn’s H-D a place where his passion for motorcycles and commitment to excellence shone brightly. John’s remarkable 57 year as a master mechanic was defined by his dedication to getting motorcycles back on the road, a testament to his belief in the importance of mechanical skills.

In his memory, we are having a tribute ride supporting the next generation with a scholarship(s) at the local vocational school, Greene Cty Career Center!
John believed in the value of the trades and this scholarship(s) will help carry forward this vital skill!

Let’s Do Good…helping others!!

I am John’s wife and I think it’s important to tell a story about John “Snuffy” Smith and what a great mechanic he was besides owning Buckminn’s H-D for 25 years.

Here are some pictures of him with just some of the motorcycles he worked on through the years! He truly enjoyed this…

We have “Snuffy Shuffle” coming up Saturday, Sept. 27th…a tribute ride to him. This ride is important to support a scholarship(s) at the Greene County Career Center for the Mechanical Technician Program! We need more mechanics!

John sure would be happy about this!! He was a mechanic who worked on motorcycles and other vehicles for over 50 years.

I just thought I would share some memories of John as we get ready for “Snuffy Shuffle” coming up on Saturday, September 27th!

John attended Service School at Harley-Davidson in 1982 where he honed his skills as a Harley-Davidson mechanic.
