SR27 RAFFLE
Now that the lineup is out! (Note: There will be a limited number of reminders this year so file this away).
It’s that time of the year again folks. Time for a Shiprocked raffle! First and foremost: Yes, this is ASK4 sanctioned and this is our 4th year doing this. We have had 8 lucky Shiprockers win a cabin and/or cash!
Last year cabin winner was Carolyn Ferguson and cash winner was Erin Harvanek.
Price is set (reduced from previous years) at a $50 donation for a chance (5 for $200) to win a Deluxe Ocean View cabin for 2 guests aboard SR27. That will include paying all your taxes, port fees, and prepaid gratuities, which is another $660 value. As a bonus, we will have a second place cash prize drawing for $500.00 (cabin winner is ineligible for the cash prize). You can use this cabin for yourself or gift it to anyone you want to bring along family or friends!
To increase the odds of winning, I will limit chances to only 200!
To maximize efficiency again this year, I will be assigning you your numbers in the order of the donation received.
Once 200 numbers are sold (or sales seem to be exhausted), I will pull the winning number on Facebook Live (I will provide the exact page in a subsequent post when we get closer) using numbered ticket stubs assigned to your name(s). The drawing typically happens in the first week of September.
Proceeds will go to supporting military veterans causes. I can provide more details if requested. The U.S. Military Vets MC State Chapter of Ohio is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization and your donations are tax deductible. Our EIN is: 65-0025175
I prefer Venmo for ease of accounting in a single place, but I can make other arrangements on a case by case basis if absolutely necessary. Venmo is pretty easy to download and use. For those curious, I’m using my personal Venmo (same as previous 2 years) so part of your donation doesn’t end up going to fees and not to veteran causes as intended.
