Thanks so much to Bethlehem Lutheran School in Fairborn for their generous donation earlier this month! We love seeing kids learning generosity and service early on!!

At Bethlehem, being Rooted in Christ means putting our faith into action! Through our monthly Chapel offerings, students and families have opportunities to practice generosity, serve our neighbors, and share some of the many blessings God has given us.🌱

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to donate an AMAZING collection of needed items to Family Promise of Greene County Ohio - including 234 toothbrushes, 29 packages of toothpaste, 22 bars of soap, 18 rolls of paper towels, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, toiletries, and so much more! 🪥🧼🧺

Thank you, BLS families, for helping our students see firsthand the joy that comes from giving and caring for others. And a special shoutout to our awesome 8th grade Chapel volunteers who counted and organized ALL of those donations for us! ❤️🤍💙

Every bowl served helps us continue our mission of providing shelter, support, and hope to families experiencing homelessness right here in Greene County.

🏡 What does it take to help a family find their way home?

It takes a community. It takes someone willing to prepare a meal. Someone who can help a child with homework. Someone who can share a skill, lend a hand, or give a few hours of their time.

At Family Promise of Greene County, our volunteers and community partners are an important part of helping families move from homelessness toward stability and independence.

And there are so many ways to be involved!

Whether you enjoy cooking, tutoring, working with your hands, organizing activities for children, or simply being there when someone needs encouragement, there is a place for you in this mission.

You don't have to change the whole world to make a difference in someone's world. Sometimes, you just have to show up. ❤️ Because every child deserves a home, and every family deserves a community that cares.

When a family comes to Family Promise of Greene County, our goal is not simply to provide shelter for tonight. It's to help them build a stronger, more stable tomorrow.

At the Schneider House of Hope, families receive more than a place to stay.
🍽️ Meals that bring comfort and nourishment.
📚 Tutoring to help children continue learning and growing.
🤝 Case management and supportive services to help parents take steps toward independence.
🏡 A community of people who believe in their future.

Every family has a different story, and every journey home looks a little different. But no family should have to walk that journey alone.
