As Medicare Open enrollment approaches (October 15th- December 7th), it's important to stay alert for scams.

Remember, Medicare will never call unexpectedly to request your banking information. Protect your personal information and be cautious of suspicious calls.

If you're unsure whether a call is legitimate, hang up and contact Medicare directly at 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227).

CarFit is an educational program designed to help older drivers find out how well their personal vehicles "fit" them. Trained volunteers work one-on-one with drivers to check things like seat positioning, mirror adjustment, steering wheel position and other features that can help improve comfort and safety while driving. This event is completely free.

They will also be doing car seat checks so that grandparents can ensure car seats "fit".
