We reinforce our mission of "Giving Children Hope and Purpose of the Future" through free clothing distribution in Virginia. As we provide a ministry for abused and neglected children, we focus on the pain and suffering these young people have experienced in their lives. Those of us who had loving, caring childhoods cannot imagine the suffering some of these children have gone through. As we look
to the future of this ministry, we came up with a workforce development project that would involve not only our children, but reinforce our mission of "Giving Children Hope and Purpose for the Future." This part of our ministry would allow us to provide a helping hand to less fortunate families in need through a FREE clothing distribution ministry. So often when we focus on others who are suffering, it helps to ease our own pain. For the young people we serve in this ministry, we feel this will be at a stepping stone to a "feeling of service" by giving to others. Providing clothing and personal hygiene items to families who are homeless, suffered a loss due to fire or other natural disaster, or poverty is a way we can help. We have our residents sort and size clothing and we plan to distribute these items all over the state of Virginia. "The King will reply, 'Truly I tell, you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters, you did for me.'" –Matthew 25:40
