Tomorrow is Tri-State Animal Rescue’s GREAT ESCAPE DAY & the van is filling up quickly. We just pulled off a big save for a big boy (80lbs). A family reached out needing help w/ their sweet SAMMY. His Mom is in a horrible domestic situation & is scared when the guy gets out of jail he will hurt SAMMY so she reached out to us. When the guy walks in a room, SAMMY just quietly tries to disappear & retreats to a corner & doesn’t make a sound. He is losing his spark. That broke our hearts so we pulled out all the stops. In Rescue you know this is no small feat; to move an 80lb baby quickly but WE DID IT: US, our transport team, & Rescue in 30min!! We are elated!! SAMMY will be on board tomorrow, heading to a place where he will shine & no longer feel the need to shrink. That is why we do this. Rescue stepped up almost immediately! Who wants to help sponsor the run tomorrow?

Please pray for Sammy’s Mom as she is still in this horrible situation.

The Freedom Friday ✨ spotlight ✨ is on Kentucky & Ashe this week! Kentucky was almost dead when he wondered up to a home begging for help w/ all the energy he had left & thanks to the compassion of that family, one of our fosters, Patty Doss, & YOUR donations, he is now safe, happy, healthy, loved, & living large on Cape Cod. Ashe was a baby no one wanted so another foster, Candi Garner, snatched him up until we secured Rescued, which took like 5min. I mean, look at that face.
