It’s GREAT ESCAPE day!! Today we’re hauling paws from 7 different counties, 49 animals total. We received a special donation last week to cover this week’s transport. We are so grateful! Happy 🐾 FREEDOM FRIDAY 🐾
This week we celebrate the 3 babies found wondering around all alone & scared. Chris Haverly picked up 2 of them, not knowing there was a 3rd at that moment. We were contacted about the 3rd one being spotted so we put our heads together to come up w/ plan B. We took the siblings back to lure the 3rd one out. It didn’t work. LOL They had no interest. Silly babies. The 3rd one retreated into a culvert. Chris was walking around, looking for her & there she was, looking at him w/ those big brown puppy eyes, almost as if she was asking for his help. So, of course, he got her. She was grumpy, hungry, & scared as we expected. What we didn’t know is that she was also hurt (attacked by something) w/ puncture wounds on her. So, off to the Vet we went. She was treated. All 3 were reunited & received a clean bill of health. We had to hold the 3rd one back as a precaution. All 3 are thriving! These were the last 3 Chris touched 💔 The receiving rescue took them in honor of him! Will post current pics once I receive them.
