JUSTASK
PRAISE INVITES HIM IN
By Nancy Lennert

Father God inhabits the praises of His people.
Psalm 22:3 NKJV
But You are holy, enthroned in the praises of Israel.

Father God is glorified when His people lift up His Name. When we give glory, thanks, and praise to Jesus, Father God is glorified.

When we have conversations with our Lord and tell Him how much we love Him, He comes closer to us. When we are wowed by Him, He comes closer to us. When we tell him how grateful and thankful we are to call Him Lord, He comes closer to us.

Hebrews 13:15 NKJV
Therefore, by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

I have read a few articles recently about inviting the Lord into our lives. How important it is for us to welcome Him into our situations, our hopes, our dreams, even our everyday lives.

God is not just a God of good times, but He is our Father in all times. Even when things “go south” in our lives; He is there wanting to be invited in. Wanting to be leaned on in good times and in bad times. He is our Father, He is Jesus and He is Holy Spirit. He is all in all and wants to be our Father.

Isaiah 41:10 NKJV
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

We are not to doubt or be in fear. Paul and Silas discovered how praise opened the prison gates. What prison gates do you need to open? What is holding you back from praising the Lord? Seeing His presence in your life?

Acts 16:25-26 NKJV
But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s chains were loosed.

Praise, pure and honest praise brought the presence of Almighty God. He was invited into the situation of Paul and Silas. He will do the same for us.

Praise Him, for He is worthy of your praise. AMEN

Even when you are having a bad day, praise Him. Even when you are feeling sick, praise Him. Even when you are confused and afraid, praise Him. Even when you don’t feel like it, when you want to sulk in the corner, PRAISE HIM. FOR HE IS WORTHY.

Jesus did not create our troubles, woes, and worries but He wants to be our solution and comfort….PRAISE HIM IN!!!

Psalm 28:7 NKJV
The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore, my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him.

I remain in His peace to love and serve,

JUSTASK: FREQUENCY
By Nancy Lennert

Can you hear the frequency of the Lord’s voice? Can you hear the multiple notes being played? Can you describe what you hear? Do we each have our own frequency?

Definition of frequence in music… (Sound Algorithm) “Frequency in music refers to the speed of vibration of a sound wave, which determines its pitch. Understanding frequency is crucial for music producers, as it directly influences how we perceive and manipulate sounds.”

Well, there is the technical answer, but what about the sound, the frequency of Jesus’ voice. What sound or frequency draws you closer to Jesus?

The frequency (sound), and the presence of Jesus is brought on by the Holy Spirit.

Acts 1:8 NLT But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be My witnesses, telling people about Me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

The word says that we shall know His voice and a stranger we will not follow. How do we recognize that voice?

John 10:27 NKJV
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

My husband and I have had numerous discussions on hearing our Lord. He uses the analogy of recognizing the frequency and tone of my voice over the phone. There is no mistaking who I am.

So, it is with Jesus. We know when Holy Spirit is speaking to our spirit. We recognized the sound, the inflection, the direction and the peace.

Yes, Father God has a sound, Jesus established that sound and Holy Spirit delivers that sound.

What frequency of sound do you recognize? What worship style sets your spirit in step with Holy Spirit?

Romans 10:17 NKJV
So, then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

We are all individuals and Jesus knows how to speak with us. He knows our frequency; He gave it to us. AMEN

Proverbs 15:3 NLT
The LORD is watching everywhere, keeping His eye on both the evil and the good.

There is no place that we can go that our Lord does not see us. Knowing this should make us aware of what we do and where we go. We cannot hide from His sight.

Psalm 33:13-14 NLT
The LORD looks down from heaven and sees the whole human race.
From His throne He observes all who live on the earth.

The all powerful, the almighty of Heaven and Earth knows our whereabouts. Each step we take is counted and recorded.

Psalm 139:2-3 NLT
You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do.

How does meditating on this verse make you feel? I am grateful for His watchful eyes and His awareness of my many moves. Am I moving according to the Lord or according to my desires?

A few years ago, the Lord showed me people running and hiding behind trash dumpsters, not to be seen. The Lord made it clear that even those who hide out and think that they are unseen are seen. We cannot run and hide from our Lord.

Psalm 33:18-19 NLT
But the LORD watches over those who fear Him, those who rely on His unfailing love. He rescues them from death and keeps them alive in times of famine.

As children we played hide and go seek, we whispered in each other’s ears. We played games thinking that no one would see or hear. That was not all together true, Jesus could hear our words and our laughter.

Luke 12:2-3 NLT
The time is coming when everything that is covered up will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all. Whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be shouted from the housetops for all to hear!

Now is not the time for games or for hiding out or soft whispers about others. We are held to a higher standard because Jesus loves us and we love others.

We can pretend not to be seen but we are seen. Maybe not by everyone in the room but by the One who called us out.

Jeremiah 23:24 NLT
Can anyone hide from Me in a secret place? Am I not everywhere in all the heavens and earth says the LORD.

No, we cannot hide. Jesus always knows our whereabouts. His eyes are upon us and His holy hand guides us. We are known by Father God. AMEN

JUSTASK: PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH
By Nancy Lennert

Isaiah 41:10 NLT
Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

The Lord tells us that we will have peace because He cares for us. He strengthens us. He holds us up with His victorious right hand. Oh, the glory of God.

Jesus went to the cross in quiet power. He said nothing. He knew the outcome. His silence angered His enemies. He remained strong in His peaceful knowing of the outcome.

Sometimes the less we say, the more powerful we appear. I understand that silence can be golden.

2 Thessalonians 3:16 NLT
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you His peace at all times and in every situation. The Lord be with you all.

Paul knew that peace came from strength. Paul knew who he was but more importantly, he knew who Jesus was in him. Jesus brought His peace to Paul so that Paul could walk in strength. The strength of Jesus.

When you know who you are and Who you carry inside of you, then you show a quiet strength. No one can change your thinking. You are a quiet storm standing strong.

Psalm 28:7 NLT
The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust Him with all my heart.
He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.

Knowing that my peace comes through the strength of Jesus Christ, my heart is filled with joy. I do not rely upon myself.

The strength of Jesus is in His Word. His word produces peace. His word produces life. His word produces truth. His word produces hope. His life and resurrection have given me peace to overcome all that life brings to me.

There is no strife in peace. There is no fear in peace. There are no moments of uncertainty or doubt. Peace brings strength and that peace comes from Jesus.

Exodus 14:14 NLT
The LORD himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.

Now isn’t this interesting? We think we must fight our battles, but Father God says He Himself will fight for us. Be at peace/stay calm. Jesus has overcome.

At the cross, Jesus had a strength about Him that none have seen before. He knew His ending and He was joyful in the Father. Jesus was at peace knowing that we would be returned to His Father. Glory to our God.

If we know our purpose, if we know who we serve, then we must know that He is Jehovah Shalom.

John 14:27 NLT
I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.

Ahh yes, Holy Spirit peace. We have no excuse for not being in peace. The peace of Holy Spirit is strong and steadfast. You will remain in peace through His strength. AMEN

I remain in His peace to love and serve,
