State Competition is almost here! Please read through everything below carefully so competition day goes as smoothly as possible.

ARRIVAL
โฐ ATHLETES ABSOLUTELY CANNOT BE LATE!
Please arrive at your athleteโs assigned meeting room at the time listed below. Be sure to SAVE THE ATTACHED GRAPHICS for easy access!
๐D1 - (SATURDAY, June 13th)
- Meeting time (Room GGO F): 1:05pm
-Performance (HALL C): 2:17pm
- Awards (Hall B ): 3:10pm
๐D2- (SUNDAY, June 14th)
-Meeting time (Room GGO F): 10:00am
-Performance (HALL C): 11:09am
-Awards (HALL B ): 11:50am
๐D3- (Saturday June 13th)
-Meeting time (GGO E): 5:40pm
-Performance (HALL C): 6:50pm
-Awards (HALL B ): 7:50pm
โฐ Please allow extra time for parking and security. We recommend arriving to the event 30 mins prior to your arrival time to find parking, get through security, use the restroom, and find your meeting room.

SECURITY
Everyone entering DeVos Place will go through security screening.
โข Metal detectors will be used.
โข Bags will be checked.
โข No weapons or sharp objects are allowed.
โข Outside food and drinks are not permitted.
โข Strollers and wagons are discouraged as they slow down entry.
ATHLETE ATTIRE
Athletes should arrive FULLY READY.

Hair pieces are allowed but not required.
Additional makeup is optional.
If your athlete does not want makeup or their hair done, that is completely okay! We want this day to be fun and enjoyable for everyone.
JEWELRY & HAIR BEADS

Please remove all jewelry before arrival. Staff cannot hold personal items.
DROP-OFF
After checking your athlete in, parents and spectators should head to the performance hall listed next to their athleteโs performance time.
๐ Spectator Bands are $9 and can be purchased outside your designated performance hall.
๐ณ This is a cashless event.
โ ๏ธ Athletes cannot be left with:
๐ซ Phones
๐ซ Water bottles
๐ซ Bags
๐ซ Toys
๐ซ Any personal items
Athletes should be dropped off with ONLY themselves.
PERFORMANCE
Athletes will stay with coaches for warm-ups and performances.
๐ฃ Wear your team gear and cheer loud!
๐ซ Air horns are NOT allowed.
โ ๏ธ Please do not lean over barriers or get too close to coaches during performances. Coaches will be directing athletes and need space to focus on athlete safety and performance. Again please DO NOT go in front of the barricades.
AFTER THE PERFORMANCE
Please remain seated in the performance hall after your athlete performs.
โ ๏ธ Do NOT rush the stage or gather near the athletes after their performance. Please go find a seat in the performance hall and wait for the announcer to dismiss spectators to the awards hall.
AWARDS
When directed, all teams and spectators will move to the awards hall.
Letโs celebrate all athletes and their accomplishments, no matter the placement.
DISMISSAL
Each athlete will receive a wristband that matches their parent/guardian during arrival.
โ ๏ธ Please communicate with your party ahead of time so everyone knows who will be picking up your athlete after awards.
โ ๏ธ KEEP YOUR WRISTBAND ON!
Athletes will only be released to the adult with the matching wristband.
SPECTATOR EXPECTATIONS
As always, we ask that all athletes, parents, and spectators represent our program with good sportsmanship and respect. Please remember that every athlete, coach, staff member, and CFA employee has worked incredibly hard for this event.
No matter the placement, letโs celebrate the athletesโ dedication, growth, and accomplishments throughout the season. We are proud of every athlete and canโt wait to cheer them on at State Competition!
