Kiwanis District Convention was full of service, leadership, and fellowship! Mike Coolbaugh was elected as the governor-elect for the 2026-2027 year. Morgan Coolbaugh received the Kathy Szymanski Fellowship award. The Wyoming Area Kiwanis Executive Board attended and even presented breakouts, lunch and learns, and the awards banquet. We are have big plans for the next Kiwanis Year. Be on the look out for some big projects and events from us over the next year. Many hands make light work. Porckchop went on an adventure with Key Club Governor Alex from the Wyoming Area Key Club. They went to Kiwanis District Convention in Gettysburg. Governor Alex took Porkchop on a Ghost Tour to a haunted orphanage. Porkchop got to meet his new friend, Kevin, the unicorn who helped raise over $200 for the Children’s Fund every time his owner, Shawn, was out of arms reach of him. Porkchop also got to witness Governor Alex wow the Kiwanians with all her board initiatives and everything the Pennsylvania Key Club is planning on accomplishing in the 2026-2027 administrative year. Don’t forget to buy your Raffle tickets for the Half a Pig Raffle!

Thank you to everyone who donated school supplies. This video was of the boxes within the first 30 minutes of the drive. The Wyoming Area Kiwanis Club is proud to support Alex Jacobs, Pennsylvania Key Club Governor and a member of the Wyoming Area Key Club, as she attended the Key Club International Convention (ICON) in Dallas, Texas, from July 1-7, 2026.

Alex was one of nine Pennsylvania Key Club members representing our state at this international event. Throughout the convention, she had the opportunity to grow as a leader, collaborate with fellow student leaders, and bring new ideas back to Pennsylvania.

Some of her experiences included:
🔹 Participating in her first House of Delegates, where Key Club members from around the world elected the next International Board and voted on policy changes.

🔹 Attending leadership workshops designed specifically for district governors, with a focus on leading and strengthening their districts.

🔹 Learning how artificial intelligence (AI) can be used to help manage and support district operations.

🔹 Building lifelong friendships during the district tour, which included a ropes course, Topgolf, group dinners, and team-building activities.

We are honored to have leaders like Alex representing both the Wyoming Area Key Club and Pennsylvania on the international stage. Her dedication to service, leadership, and personal growth is an inspiration to our community.
Congratulations, Alex! We can't wait to see all the great things you'll accomplish this year as Pennsylvania Key Club Governor. 💙💛
