A little over a year ago, our Kiwanis family lost someone very special.

Nicky was a member of the Wyoming Area Kiwanis Club for only a short time, but from the moment she joined, she made an impact. She was a ball of energy, a bright light, and the kind of person who brought joy into the room simply by being there. She was eager to help, quick to smile, and ready to jump in wherever she was needed.

Some people touch our lives over many years. Others leave a lasting mark in a much shorter time. Nicky was one of those people.

To honor her life and the light she shared with us, the Wyoming Area Kiwanis Club placed a memorial bench in Dailey Park. We hope it becomes a place where friends, family, and community members can sit, pause, remember, and feel the love that continues to surround her memory.

Nicky, your time with us was far too short, but your spirit is still felt. We are grateful to have known you, served beside you, and called you part of our Kiwanis family.

May this bench be a lasting reminder of your beautiful energy, generous heart, and bright light. 💙

The Wyoming Area Kiwanis Club was proud to help sponsor and participate in this year’s Memorial Day parades alongside the VFW Post 396 and American Legion Post 904.

We were especially grateful to walk with members of our Key Club and K-Kids, who showed up to honor those who gave their lives in service to our country. Seeing our youth leaders participate in such an important community tradition is a powerful reminder of why service, citizenship, and remembrance matter.

Thank you to everyone who helped organize the parades, all of the groups who participated, and the community members who came out to honor our fallen heroes.

Today was exactly what Kiwanis is all about — bringing people together, building friendships, supporting our youth programs, and creating memories as one big Kiwanis family.

Thank you to everyone who came out to Francis Slocum State Park to eat, play, laugh, volunteer, and spend the day with us. From volleyball, kick ball, yard games, and LOTS of water balloons to food, fellowship, and plenty of smiles, it was such a great reminder of the impact we can make when our club, youth programs, families, and community come together.

A special thank you to our Kiwanis members, advisors, students, parents, and volunteers who helped make the day happen. We are so grateful for each of you.

Every child deserves a safe, comfortable place to sleep. ❤️

Wyoming Area Kiwanis Club is partnering with Sleep in Heavenly Peace for our 100 Bed Build, and we’re looking for sponsors to help us make it happen.

It costs just $50 to build one bed.
That means $50 can help keep a kid from sleeping on the floor.

Whether you sponsor one bed, five beds, or more, your support will make a real difference for children right here in our community.
