OUR LCSD #1 School Board Endorsements!
Wyoming Family Alliance is pleased to endorse Alicia Smith, Shelia Kistler, and Kaleigh Rehm for LCSD #1 School Board.
PLEASE VOTE FOR ALL THREE! There are three open positions!
These HIGHLY QUALIFIED candidates will reflect the conservative values of the LCSD #1 area on issues such as parental rights, minimizing access to sexually explicit books, and providing teachers the support they deserve and are not getting from their union.

BE AWARE: Some of the other candidates have been endorsed by leftist groups who actively promote keeping sexually explicit materials in the schools and hiding important information from parents about their student’s well-being.

AREN’T SCHOOL BOARD RACES NON-PARTISAN?
School Board races are nonpartisan in Wyoming, which means the candidate does not run as a Democrat or Republican (or another political party).
With the rise of groups claiming that education is not complete unless it includes sexually explicit materials or the withholding of information about a child’s well-being from their parents, the Cheyenne community has begun to recognize that leftist partisanship has been part of school board races in the past.
Rehm, Kistler, and Smith are NOT running as partisans when they let you know they are conservative because conservatism is a way of thinking, not a political party.
Especially in Wyoming, we all know politicians who are registered Republicans and yet are not conservative at all, instead voting from a moderate or even liberal stance. This is a perfect example of the difference between a political party and a way of thinking.
Every school board member should weigh all facts and concerns regarding every issue, consider the potential impact on all, and then vote objectively. Still, it is naïve to think that school board members do not allow their conservative or liberal worldviews to influence their decisions.
Smith, Kistler, and Rehm are being honest and up-front about their conservative worldview to assist voters in knowing what they stand for. Candidates who claim their worldview doesn’t enter into how they vote are being dishonest with themselves and voters.
