Peace for Puppies

Peace for Puppies Lizzie Penna created Peace for Puppies at the young age of 7 to foster her passion for animals. She would not take NO for an answer!

She needed a way to help end the suffering of abused and neglected animals. She contacted local shelters and found out she was too young to volunteer. She began raising money to give to give to local shelters to help animals who needed care. She then began collecting towels and blankets and delivering them to shelters and rescues. This grew into a non-profit and soon enough Lizzie was being asked

to speak at schools to educate children about kindness and compassion towards animals. She has and never will give up her passion to help the less fortunate, whether they be furry or human!

Fruits Offer Your Pets Beneficial Phytonutrients and Antioxidants Not found in pet food!

Dogs (and cats, if they’ll eat ‘em) can receive significant health benefits from fresh food snacks 🐶🐱, but so many false food fears create unnecessary panic, and pets are denied the amazing health benefits of these great additions 👎🏼.

Many of these fruits are listed on DO NOT FEED lists by well-meaning websites that fail to explain the details: Toddlers and pets need to have the rinds, cores, seeds, leaves, stems and pits of fruits removed prior to eating, and all fruits and veggies need to be chopped into tiny, bite-sized pieces.

I find it interesting that the choking/GI risks are the same for little people and pets, but the foods listed aren’t demonized for kids because human parents have common sense: Don’t feed kids whole cherries with pits and stems. Same for your pets.

Well Pet Food Industry, and , I believe pet parents also have some common sense and won’t offer pineapple rinds to their dogs as treats, so how about you update your out-of-date website info 🙏🏼?

Put a * by foods that have a rind, pit, core or stem. Remind folks training treats should less than 10% of an animal’s daily calories, and if your pet has never had the new food before, always feed them slowly, giving the GI tract time to adjust. Chop them into tiny pieces and offer in moderation.

Here's the list of foods AAFCO/FEDIAF state are toxic to pets: onions, grapes/raisins, macadamia nuts and chocolate. 4 foods. It’s time to clean up and clarify your warning lists.

Are your pets activated???

So to keep her running around and free of any joint pain (at 11 years old), we activate her cellular health. And the bonus...
Her cataract has disappeared in her right eye!!!

Now the whole family is activated and feeling our best, together.

Always check where your pet treats and food comes from.

Always check where your pet treats and food comes from.

Costco is under fire from dog lovers for continuing to sell pet jerky treats from China, despite being warned by an owner whose veterinarian believes treats purchased there killed her Yorkshire terrier puppy.

It is getting very cold outside in many regions. Just as we talk about NEVER leaving a pet in a car in warm weather as it heats up so fast; NEVER leave a pet in a car in cold weather. And NEVER leave a pet outside. If it is cold for you, or too cold for your child it is too cold for your pet. If you own a pet keep them safe and warm in these cold temperatures.

Please do your research when using any essential oil in a diffuser; when spraying ANY odor removal sprays; using carpet deodorizers; perfumes. They go up in the air and then come down in the carpet or on the floor. Our pets lick their feet and ingest all the chemical. OR they breathe it in their tiny lungs. If you own a pet, always know what they cannot eat or ingest or inhale. Keep them safe.

Saturday night I got home late and my dog didn't recognize me. Being a nanny I thought I woke him up and he was having a night terror. Sunday, he was still acting weird. I realized that I had been running my new diffuser and decided to turn it off. Sunday afternoon, he was feeling better. Today at w...
