Sign up for a free guided mushroom walk June 13th @ 10am; meet at the Dog Park Parking lot. We will explore the natural fungal diversity of Curtis Arboretum. Rita Berson of the will teach us how, where, and when to spot mushrooms as we explore the park together. Wear sturdy, comfortable shoes that can get muddy. All are welcome!

This is a rain-or-shine event, unless it is pouring.

A link to sign up is in the comments - we just want to make sure we have room for everyone. We will meet in the dog park parking lot.

Our next volunteer day is this Saturday, March 21, 1-3 pm.

We'll meet in the parking lot near the dog park. Our main task will be spreading fresh wood chips around some of the Heritage Trees that are available for adoption. If anyone has a wheelbarrow or garden cart to bring along, that would be great. We will have two there. We will have shovels, but bring your own if convenient. A smaller snow shovels is the ideal tool. As usual we have gloves and snacks, but please bring your own water bottle.

If you prefer to remove invasive vines from trees, you could do that instead. Bring along your hand tools if you have them. If not, we have loaners.

Please bring a friend! Our volunteer days at Curtis are a chance to enjoy the glow of doing good. It's a minimal time investment and you'll see visible results.
